Where Dance Becomes Community

daugavaway SIA brings authentic Latin rhythm to adults over 45 across Latvia. We're not just teaching steps — we're building connections through bachata, salsa, and the joy of movement in Rīga, Liepāja, and Jūrmala.

Built on Real Passion

We started daugavaway SIA because we noticed something: Latin dance doesn't have an age limit. Adults over 45 were hungry for authentic instruction, genuine community, and a space where they could learn without judgment. That's exactly what we've built.

Since we opened our first classes in Rīga Old Town, we've seen incredible transformations. People who thought they'd never dance again discovered their rhythm. Beginners became confident. Solo dancers found their partners. Weekend socials turned into lasting friendships.

It's not complicated. We teach bachata and salsa the right way — with proper technique, patient coaching, and an atmosphere where everyone belongs. You don't need experience. You don't need a partner walking in the door. You just need to show up.

Three Locations, One Vision

We're embedded in the communities we serve. From historic Rīga Old Town to the coastal charm of Jūrmala, you'll find us where the energy is and the doors are open.

Rīga Old Town

Social dance nights and intermediate bachata classes in the heart of Latvia's capital. We're hosting weekly socials where dancers of all levels come together. The atmosphere is electric, and the community is real.

Liepāja

Beginner-friendly Latin dance classes designed for people starting fresh. We take time with fundamentals — footwork, rhythm, body movement. Most students notice real progress within their first month.

Jūrmala Coast

Seasonal weekend gatherings with the Baltic Sea as our backdrop. Summer socials, evening classes, and special events that blend dance with the beauty of coastal Latvia. It's something you won't forget.

How We Work

daugavaway SIA isn't a franchise operation pumping out cookie-cutter classes. We're selective about our instructors, intentional about class sizes, and serious about creating an environment where adults feel comfortable learning.

Experienced Instruction

Our instructors aren't just certified — they're passionate about teaching adults. They understand the specific needs of this demographic and tailor their approach accordingly.

Small Class Sizes

We cap classes at reasonable numbers so everyone gets attention. You're not lost in a crowd. Personal feedback and individual progression matter to us.

Progressive Curriculum

We don't throw advanced moves at beginners. Classes build logically, week by week. You'll feel yourself improving, and that momentum keeps you coming back.

What Our Community Says

"I wasn't sure about it at first. Hadn't danced since my twenties, and I was nervous. But the first class was welcoming, not intimidating. Now I've made actual friends here. We go to the weekend socials in Jūrmala and have a blast."

— Elena, 52

"The Liepāja classes are perfect if you're starting from zero. The instructor breaks everything down. It's not about being perfect — it's about having fun and improving. I can feel the difference in my coordination already."

— Andris, 48
